Who can submit
Community groups, charities, nonprofits, CICs, campaigners, schools, environmental groups, mutual aid networks, and public-interest technologists.
What a strong submission includes
- A clear problem: who is affected and what happens if nothing is done.
- A proposed repair: what will be done, by whom, and who benefits.
- An itemised, costed budget with essential vs optional items.
- A timeline with delivery phases and milestones.
- Evidence of need — letters of support, quotes, surveys, reports, or data.
- Governance and safeguarding details where relevant.
How review works
Submissions are assessed for public-good value, evidence of need, feasibility, budget clarity, delivery credibility, safeguarding and fraud risk, and fit with TrickleDownHope principles. Reviewers may approve, request more information, reject with a reason, or escalate for specialist review.
