The Social Capital Score
The Social Capital Score measures verified private wealth returned to public good through no-strings funding. It rewards repair, humility, proportional giving, neglected need, and verified outcomes.
What it rewards
- No-strings funding given without control or influence.
- Lower-recognition giving — anonymous and pseudonymous contributions count for more.
- Funding neglected, urgent, or unglamorous needs.
- Projects that actually complete and have their outcomes verified.
- Proportional, repeated commitment to public-good repair.
The MVP model
The early score is intentionally simple and not financially sensitive. Funding points are banded, not linear, so raw wealth cannot dominate by amount alone.

The guardrail
The score should not reward wealth alone. It should reward verified repair, meaningful contribution, and the absence of control.
A complex proportional wealth formula will not be attempted until governance, verification, and legal implications are understood. The score must never reproduce the hierarchy the platform exists to challenge.
