The promise of trickle-down
The idea that concentrating wealth at the top would eventually benefit everyone — and why the promise is the point.
"Trickle-down" is the idea that if wealth is concentrated at the top — through lower taxes on high incomes and capital, and fewer constraints on accumulation — the benefits will eventually flow down to everyone else through investment, jobs, and growth.
TrickleDownHope takes the promise literally. If wealth is supposed to reach the people who need it, then the simplest test is direct: here is a costed public need; here is the wealth; let it flow.
“If wealth trickles down, prove it.”
This is an editorial framing, not a claim about any specific policy or individual. The platform's argument is structural: while the mechanism for wealth to reach public good is left to chance, obvious needs go unmet.
